Goethe Certificate C1

1st day (written, individual examination) 190 minutes
2nd day (oral, pair examination) 15 minutes

This exam is suitable for all adult foreign language learners who have German language skills at level C1 and would like to have these confirmed with an internationally valid certificate. Young people from the age of 16 are welcome!

If you would like to practice before the Goethe exam, you can also attend an exam training course instead of a whole course. There you will be intensively prepared for all parts of the exam.

NOTICE: THE FINAL PRICE WILL BE CALCULATED BASED ON THE SELECTED EXAMINATION PARTS.

• Your personal exam schedule will be sent to you by mail approximately 3 weeks before the exam.
• Please bring an identity card with you on the day of the exam.
• The examination fee must be paid at least 10 days before the examination date.
• In case of emergency, it is possible to withdraw from an exam or to postpone the registration. Cancellations up to 2 weeks before the exam are free of charge. After that the exam fee has to be paid.
• You will receive the results by mail approximately 3 weeks after the exam.

Attainment of language level C1 is documented by an official Goethe-Zertifikat C1 from the Goethe-Institut.
