This exam qualifies the German language level A2 according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and is accompanied by an official certificate issued by the internationally recognised Goethe Institute.
The examination includes the parts listening, reading and writing (90 minutes, written) and speaking (15 minutes, oral, pair examination) and is held in one afternoon. It is offered several times a year.
With language skills at level A2 you can:
- understand and use sentences and frequently used expressions in everyday situations.
- communicate in simple, routine situations involving the exchange of information on familiar and common topics.
- describe in simple terms your own background and education, immediate environment and things related to immediate needs.
